Experience a close encounter with the gentle giants of the ocean by joining us on an informative, educational and magical whale watching trip. The boat is licensed to approach the whales up to
50m, and they can then decide whether or not to come closer and investigate, being naturally curious, they usually come right up to the boat.
The purpose-built catamaran Miroshca, complies with all safety regulations, and its configuration provides spectacular viewing and comfort. With a qualified, registered skipper and whale specialist as your guide, including translations in Dutch and German you are sure to have a unique experience at sea.
Duration: Approx. 1hr 30m - max. 3hrs (depends on traveling time to the whales on that trip). Duration of trip is normally about 2hrs.
Departures: 9am - 12 noon - 3pm (from September additional time of 7am)
What we usually encounter:
- Southern Right Whales
- Seals
- Penguins
- Marine birds
- We often encounter dolphins, as well as Bryde's [our resident whale throughout the year] and Humpback whales.
Time of year: Approx -June / July to December, it all depends when the star performers arrive and depart.
Safety/protection: "private floating jetty" to enable our passengers to embark / disembark with ease. All necessary, approved safety equipment is on board
No of passengers: registered to carry 70 passengers + 5 crew

Bookings/Enquiries: Bookings are not essential, but definitely advisable, so as to avoid disappointment. All trips are subject to weather conditions
Passengers should bring: hats, sunblock, cameras, and jackets.
Seasick tablets should be taken in advance, if needed, as per instructions on packet.
